Prints

After months of searching, I found a Print On Demand site that offers a variety of products and sizes, in both framed and unframed variations. I am pleased to announce that my pieces are now available from Fine Art America. Each image page in the Galleries and Portfolio sections has a Purchase Print button that will take you to my FineArtAmerica.com site where you can purchase the print of that image. Fine Art America has more than 40 years of experience creating museum quality prints. Their prints are produced on state-of-the-art, professional grade printers using acid-free papers and archival inks to guarantee that they last a lifetime without fading or loss of color. Equally important to me is that you are satisfied with your purchase, and Fine Art America offers a 30 day 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not happy for any reason, you can return it.

Similar to the color management concerns found on my Viewing page, your browser may not correctly show you what my prints on Fine Art America will look like. Using color management throughout the entire print creation process (i.e., from capture through image processing and to the final print) ensures that you receive a print that is exactly as it was intended to be color-wise. If you are not using a properly configured browser and/or a calibrated monitor that fully supports the sRGB color profile, you may not see the image on your monitor as it will appear in print.

Custom Sizes

Digital images are captured in a specific aspect ratio (e.g., 2 by 3). While they can be cropped or otherwise manipulated during post-processing, after they have been finalized and posted on my site for sale, I don’t normally offer sizes that are outside the final format. That is, a 4 by 5 image could be sized to 12x15, 16x20, 20x25 etc. all of which retain the same aspect ratio while simply changing the print size. However, trying to fit a 12x15 image into a 13x19 space means that either the image has to be cropped, or the proportions must be changed. Both of which may cause a loss of artistic intent. If you require something special or desire a print size that you don’t see for sale, please contact me and we will try to work something out.
